The classicism of this architecture resonates in the horizontal structuring of the individual buildings, with their slender window formats and cubical roof dormers. Yellow and terracotta-toned plasterwork, and dove-blue wall surfaces give the buildings an appearance of almost wistful polychromy. Even in this, they are reminiscent of the Arcadian Potsdam.
