The collective rituals in the theatres and stadia of ancient times continue to exist in the present day. The idealistic projects of the revolutionary architects, Boullée and Ledoux, serve for conceptual orientation. With the types "Arena" and "Colosseum", the cinema is inscribed in the dramatic form of an idealised oval volume. A circular, double-storey foyer, with natural daylighting from above, provides access to the auditorium. The proposed location was the Auer-von-Welsbach-Park at Schönbrunn Palace.
