The Baroque Palais Gatterburg stands in the centre of the city, close to Graben. Seven new apartments are to be incorporated into the roof structure, partly connected with the third floor on the level below. An additional floor with roof terrace is to be constructed on the courtyard tract.
The intention here is not for the new building measures to form a shrill contrast with the historical monument, but rather, that the new functions are integrated naturally and unobtrusively into the Palais structure.
